I don’t want to call this just a breakdown video because this isn’t. This is more than just your average VFX breakdown video. This is a documentary on the making of the VFX of the Train Sequence. The documentary shows us the making of the miniatures, how they were shipped to Hyderabad and a look at their research and a peek into Surpreeze’s Copenhagen HQ.
The sequence begins at Ramaraju (Ram Charan) entering the large crowd on the chase to catch Lacchu (Rahul Ramakrishna) up till the handshake.
The sequence involves everything from set extensions, fully digital environments, water, fire and crowd sims, CG animals to miniature all blending beautifully. Watch the full docu below.
Surpreeze just raised the bar for the rest of the shops. No pressure. Just saying. Although who are we kidding. The game is ON!
